Dia most oustanding characteristics are: - secrecy - anger / basically, Doppio and King Crimson

from my pov he /built/ power (aka Passione) and made himself a persona that ppl follow/fear

I say he's not charismatic because people doesn't worship him, they're loyal af so I understand if you categorize him as charismatic but there's something very special about the way Diavolo /gets into/ people's minds...

(I guess that's why he's called Diavolo / these "he gets into ppl's minds" vibes were so strong after image 1 that, before reading img 2 I was sure Dopps "sold" his body to the boss )

I said his secrecy is basically Doppio because on a poetic sense, leaving him was his sentence, and due to his secrecy Doppio was probably often his public persona

however his secrecy is more that that and also relies on /himself/ as Diavolo, on hiding himself

original twitter thread [edited] So talking about Diavolo's/Dio's and Giorno's symbolism as the Devil, God and Jesus, I pointed out that: Diavolo's symbolism as a "devil" goes further by - having a mysterious born (impossible father, not having a specific date but set in summer, as opposed to Jesus who's usually celebrated in winter) - being raised by a priest + being shown as good when younger -- evil coming out of such an unexpected place (similar to Satan being an angel) - being a deceiver (Satan is portrayed as a deceiver), fooling everyone as Doppio

An AU I headcanon as possible: Diavolo as Solido/Doppio's father

Published before once at least, here . Names i'll be using: Diavolo - the one who's the boss, the one that completely controls the stand Solido - the person from the flashbacks (including ANIME flashbacks additional scenes) Doppio - the one who fights Risotto, phone boy In this interpretation, that is meant to fit the canon, Diavolo would be an (evil) spirit or similar thing that impregnated a women in prision without having sex/with non physical sex (like in a dream). This is necessary to a) make a parallelism with Jesus Christ (this, and Diavolo's later nature and name * is what makes me call him an evil spirit) and to 2) make her believe the father is a human she met before. However, she may remember the intercourse and actually have talked about it (extra points if she believes is a demon, so this is a huge reason on why Solido -the baby- is sent to a Father). * Read here a fitting with the canon explanation of Diavolo's name .
